Rosemary Butler
Rosemary Butler
It’s been awhile since Rosemary Butler has performed Upstairs @ Vitello’s, and she’s cooked up a fantastic tribute to legendary singer and recording artist Linda Ronstadt.

Rosemary gained popularity in the late 1970s and early '80s singing on countless songs and touring as a back-up singer, appearing alongside some of the best in the business including Linda Ronstadt as well as Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Paul McCartney, Carole King, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Kenny Loggins, Whitney Houston, Ray Charles and many other A-list superstars. Rosemary will share some of her unique musical journey in the world of Rock & Roll told through this beautifully crafted musical tribute to the great Linda Ronstadt.

Blessed with a 4-octave mezzo-soprano range, Rosemary Butler’s vocal expertise is a technical marvel. She began her career playing the bass and singing in an all-girl Orange County based band called the “Ladybirds”. The band appeared on several L.A. area television shows and even opened for The Rolling Stones! She formed the all-female hard rock band “Birtha” that released two albums for ABC-Dunhill Records. Rosemary was the contractor & co-conductor of the 100 Voice Choir that was featured on Neil Young's ‘Living With War’ album and movie. The Superbowl, President Clinton’s Inauguration, and The Grammys have all been graced with her unparalleled vocals. She won a “Telly” award for “My Journey”, a compilation video of her performances with these artists created as an introspective look at her fascinating career. Rosemary’s last solo album, ‘YOU JUST WATCH ME’ was released in 2013, with the help of her friends, Kenny Loggins and Jackson Browne, and was met with great critical acclaim, and she’s currently working on a new solo project.
