Pierre Charles III is a Los Angeles-based jazz pianist and composer. His debut album, Better, released on November 3, 2017, showcases his original compositions and arranging skills alongside incredibly talented musicians. Charles's compositional and technical style is influenced by not only jazz but also blues, R&B, pop, and classical music; he aims to create a sound that crosses genre lines and brings together various audiences and generations.

In Charles's own words he states, "Better is a musical reflection of my growth as a person, a musician, and my journey into becoming a man. I want to thank everyone in my life who continues to support me, love me, and push me to be better.” The title track, which opens up the album, was written with Charles’ sentiments in mind, and it engages a vibrant energy that sets the tone for the rest of the project. “Use Your Love”, the last track on the album, showcases a beautiful and memorable melody where Charles envisions a world in harmony; this album is about the human experience and coming together in unity. He is excited to perform this piece as well as his other compositions and arrangements alongside a group of young and talented up-and-coming peers.

Pierre Charles III has also performed with notable names throughout his career including Rodney Whitaker, Michael Dease, Sean Dobbins, Diego Rivera, Randy Napoleon, Brian Lynch, Louis Hayes, Jimmy Cobb, and Etienne Charles, to name a few. Working hard to make a name for himself by spreading his music, Charles is ready to be a part of new age of jazz.
