When Prince’s keyboard player, Meghan Trainor’s drummer, Quincy Jones’ bassist and Andy Grammer’s guitarist show up to back a jazz singer, it might be worth seeing what all the buzz for Music Carolyn is about. She isn't just a classically-trained singer and songwriter, but also a veteran TV Academy music supervisor who’s worked for Entertainment Tonight and CBS Studios. As a singer and songwriter she has shared the stage, screen and studio with an eclectic group of artists in the jazz, classical, soul, gospel and pop world including Grammy winner Kathleen Battle, Grammy-nominated Lukas Graham, Oscar-nominated Alfre Woodard, as well as Grammy-nominated gospel singer Dayna Caddell and R&B Crooner Jon B. Fans may have seen her singing at temples, churches and community events in Dr. Diane White-Clayton's gospel-classical-leaning BYTHAX Ensemble, with her husband in the Hip-Hop Soul duo TANIQ, which garnered critical acclaim with their debut album The Life and Times of Love, or as a session singer for major artists in various genres. Witness her stepping out front with a love story inspired by her upcoming release Fireworks and Ocean Waves.

The show will weave together familiar songs from influences Ella Fitzgerald, Jill Scott, Bobby McFerrin, Gregory Porter, D’Angelo and Sade, while introducing songs from her upcoming soul jazz fusion release. The Voice finalist Kim Yarbrough will also join her on-stage to preview their upcoming musical #EllaandEtta, a show that will marry the lives of two of the most iconic singers in the jazz and blues worlds. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind show!

Music Carolyn will be accompanied by these phenomenal musicians:

Xavier Taplin - Keys
Chesley Allen - Drums
Gary Wicks - Bass
